Designer, Midweight - Social & Performance

The Role

We are looking for a midweight designer to join the team on a part-time basis - 13 days per month. You will design and produce content across email and CRM, paid social on Meta, and DTC Shopify websites for a roster of beauty, lifestyle, wellness and drinks clients. Volume and pace are part of the job. So is quality.

You need to understand what performs, not just what looks good. The best work here balances strong visual craft with commercial instinct - assets that stop the scroll and drive action. You will work closely with our channel leads day to day, with creative oversight from our Associate Creative Director.

Responsibilities

- Design and produce content across email and CRM, Meta paid social, and DTC Shopify websites
-Clip, edit and finish short-form video from existing footage for use across social and paid channels - applying cuts, pacing, captions and basic colour grading to get content publish-ready
- Produce static and motion assets across multiple brand clients simultaneously
- Adapt creative for different formats, placements and brand guidelines without losing quality
- Turn around strong V1s quickly and iterate efficiently through client feedback rounds
- Manage your own time across concurrent briefs without requiring supervision
- Communicate proactively with the lead strategist - flagging blockers early and keeping production on track
- Contribute to a test-and-learn approach, applying creative learnings from performance data over time

Essential Requirements

- Minimum three years of design experience in a social, content or performance marketing agency
- A portfolio demonstrating work for beauty, lifestyle, wellness or drinks brands - ideally showing content that was built to perform, not just to look good
- Sharp taste and trend awareness - you know what is cutting through on the platforms your clients live on, and you can push creative boundaries while keeping brand integrity intact
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects are the core tools of this role
- Confident video editor - able to clip, cut and finish existing footage to a publish-ready standard for social and paid channels
- Genuine understanding of what drives performance on Meta and in email - you think about the scroll, the open rate, the click
- Highly self-sufficient - you read the brief, manage your workload and deliver without needing to be chased
- Clear and proactive communicator within a small, fast-moving team

Desirable Skills

- Experience with FigmaTikTok content design experience - not essential today but relevant to where we are heading
- Ecomm and basic UI design capability beyond Shopify templates
- Comfortable experimenting with AI tools to support and accelerate creative production
- CRM and email marketing campaign experience beyond asset production - involvement in planning and sequencing
- Experience working across multiple brand clients simultaneously in an agency environment
